Granny's Pool

Granny's pool is a sheltered bay just north of Umhlanga lighthouse. It's an ideal spot for both fishing and launching of ski boats. Sharks Board boats and private boats are launched from here daily and can be watched from the ski club. Come New Year's eve, it also provides a prime viewing spot for firework displays.

Hiking

Loads of water, a good sunblock, a picnic lunch and you're set for one of the numerous hiking trails available. With such an amazing coastline and breathtaking countryside, blaze your own trail along the dunes, through the nature reserves or along the awesome foothills of the Drakensburg.

Horse-riding

Explore the beaches and hills on the back of a horse for an entirely different viewpoint. Various outrides are offered along the beach, through the sugar-cane fields or even venturing through a forest. Most cater for the experienced rider as well as beginners.

Musical fountains

A moving water sculpture of jets and blasts, all perfectly synchronised to music, the musical fountains make a beautiful and relaxing display. A rather magical experience for the more poetic at heart, or simply a good way to chill.

Wave Pool

When the surf's not up and you simply can't wait, there is always the wavepool with waves to thrill both beginners and advanced surfers.
